Institute Football Club would like to express its sincere gratitude to all NHS workers who have shown such bravery, and made many sacrifices, whilst carrying out their duties in the global battle with the Covid-19 Coronavirus.
In particular, we would like to thank our very own Dr Noel Boyle (club doctor), Adam McClintock (Noel’s assistant) and of course from our playing staff, Colm McLaughlin, who continues his great work in Letterkenny. The club is proud of you all!
We also recognise there will be others employed in the NHS, and other front line agencies, connected to the club, and beyond, who are striving each and every day to beat the virus! Please feel free to tag these loved ones or friends in the comments below to show you are thinking of them.
To finish, here is a message from our Club Chaplain, Rev Malcolm Ferry:
Usually Easter is a time to celebrate and give thanks for the empty tomb which meant death was no longer an end. This year it is all different! There have been many prayers said over the past few weeks for loved ones working on the front line and for family members who are ill. Can I encourage everyone to continue to pray for an end to this pandemic. Players and staff have no pitches to play on. The Chaplain has no church to meet his people. I am confident that the pitches will reopen and the games begin. I am also confident that I will soon be back in church remembering all of you and your families connected with the Institute Family.
