Institute continued their pre-season preparation with a 1-1 draw at Ardstraw last Saturday. There were a number of notable individual performances from new signing Conor Quigley and youngster Joel Gorman in particular.

Whilst Stute dominated the game and created a number of chances against the capable and well drilled Ardstraw team, honours were even at the final whistle. Lots of excellent football from both sides with all Stute players getting at least half a game each as Sean Connor continues to build the momentum ahead of a projected start date of mid October.

The club are grateful to Ardstraw FC for hosting this friendly game and for the positive but also competitive manner in which the game was played. We wish Nigel Boyd and his lads all the very best for the season ahead.
